To start back Alpha Chi of the Week, this week Rachel Solorio is our AXO of the Week! While at Auburn, she has been involved in Best Buddies, SGA, Pi Chi, CRU, and the Oaks Retreat! Rachel SoloRio |
What are you most excited about for your senior year? I think what I’m most excited about for senior year is probably getting to make the most of the last year I have! To take advantage of everyday and every opportunity. I’m excited to get to know the freshmen and continue building these relationships here in college during these next two semesters!! |
What has been your favorite Alpha Chi memory? My favorite Alpha Chi memory was getting to campaign for Chelsea Crooks my freshmen year! It was so cool to see such unity in not only my pledge class but with everyone in the sorority! One of my other favorite things was getting to live on the hall! My pledge class grew so much closer during that time (and my closest size increased as well haha!) |
What's one piece of advice you would give to freshmen? Oh man. I’ve been through it all I feel like, but I would say the biggest thing i’ve learn is that everything happens exactly how it’s supposed to happen! Whether it be not getting FLP or even getting the position you applied for, it all happens for a reason!! I’m so thankful for all the opportunities the Lord has blessed me with and even in the hard times I know I am in the exact place I’m supposed to be in!! Don’t let one bad thing hold you down, keep your head up and make the most of the time we have hear!! Invest in others, get involved in different places, and love the time you have here! |
Who has inspired you most? Toffffff. Olivia Tofani has not only been a leader to me in Alpha Chi (like when I have a million and a half questions that probably get so obnoxious to answer), but also she has been a best friend to me for nearly 4 years. Whether it's Alpha Chi related or not, I know she is one of the most approachable human beings with a heart of gold. She has loved me and the rest of Alpha Chi so much and I couldn’t thank her enough for that. It’s made my time in this sorority so enjoyable. |
Congratulations to my niece and Goddaughter. A beautiful young woman - inside and out. Love and hugs, Aunt Berta
